Resolve Issues in DELL Optiplex Gx280


GX280 Solid amber light and loud fan


Got a dell gx280 here with a solid amber light and a loud fan as soon as you turn it on, nothing displays on the screen?

  • Reseating in the socket work for a GX280.
  • When I did that, I noticed that the processor was bad plugged. 
  • When I remove the cooling, the processor also came throught. 
  • Now it is working. 
  • Defective CAPs in 280.


*If it does not work. 

  •  Remove the Processor Steel cap, This will resolve the Issue for sure.
